The high-performance Pegasus 2300 VTOL is a low-cost, easy-to-use VTOL designed specifically for mapping. Made of composite materials, the entire frame is lightweight and rugged. The quick assembly design allows for easy assembly without tools to reduce preparation time for each flight.
In this mapping combination, the Pegasus 2300 VTOL is equipped with the T30 ground control station and Map-A7R mapping camera and can map an area of 12 square kilometers in a 90-minute flight. When equipped with Here+ RTK base (option), Pegasus-230 VTOL can realize centimeter-level positioning.
Pegasus 2300 VTOL has an aerodynamic shape and low air resistance. With a powerful propulsion system, Pegasus 2300 can achieve a maximum take-off weight of 8 kg, and the flight duration is 110 minutes without payload. It can also withstand a wind of 5.5m/s-7.9m/s (12.5mph-17.5mph), making it capable of performing flight tasks in various complex situations.
The GPS module is mounted on the tail wing, well away from the power system, greatly reducing interference; the ESC for fixed-wing mode is mounted externally for better heat dissipation. The clear wiring of the camera cabin helps to configure the camera without tangling the cables.
The Pegasus 2300 VTOL can be loaded with max. 1 kg of equipment, which is sufficient for almost all types of mapping cameras like Map-01, Map-02 and Map-A7R.
